GDPR · PII · PCI · PHI — Oracle Fusion & EBS Non-Production Masking
Your Dev, Test, UAT, and Training environments contain real employee names, payroll figures, supplier bank details, and customer data. Every refresh copies it all. MaskIQ™ eliminates that risk — enterprise-grade, Oracle-aware masking that protects PII/PCI/PHI while keeping environments fully functional.

eAppSys Product — DMOne™ Suite
Every time your Oracle Fusion or EBS production environment is cloned for testing, training, or development, real personal data travels with it. Employee payroll records, bank account details, National Insurance numbers, supplier payment information, patient data — all sitting in environments accessible to developers, system integrators, support teams, and offshore contractors. MaskIQ™ was built to prevent exactly that. Not basic scrambling that breaks referential integrity, but true enterprise-grade masking that protects sensitive fields while keeping datasets fully functional for the teams that need them.
“Instead of relying on basic scrambling, DMOne MaskIQ™ by eAppSys delivers true enterprise-grade data masking across Fusion ERP, HCM, SCM & CX — keeping sensitive information protected while maintaining fully usable datasets for Dev, Test, UAT, Training and Sandbox environments.”

The questions we get asked most before a MaskIQ™ engagement starts.
MaskIQ™ is an enterprise-grade Oracle-aware data masking product within the DMOne™ Cloud suite. It exists because every Oracle Fusion and EBS non-production environment — Dev, Test, UAT, Training, Sandbox — typically contains real personal data copied from production. Employee payroll records, bank details, National Insurance numbers, customer records. Every refresh copies it all again. GDPR does not make an exception for test environments. MaskIQ™ automates masking after every refresh so development, testing, and training teams always work with protected data.
MaskIQ™ uses five techniques: substitution (realistic but fictitious values), shuffling (redistribute real values between records), format-preserving masking (valid format, not real data — e.g. a correctly formatted NI number), tokenisation (reversible replacement), and nulling (remove entirely). Each is configured per field, with deterministic options to maintain referential integrity across related objects and multiple pods.
MaskIQ™ uses deterministic masking — the same input always produces the same masked output — so all related records reference the same masked value. An employee record is consistently masked across every table that references that employee. This keeps the data model internally consistent across all environments, making masked data reliable for integration and regression testing.
MaskIQ™ is designed to run automatically after every environment refresh, before any user, developer, or SI gains access. This eliminates the compliance gap between refresh completion and manual masking. As noted on eappsys.com: ‘Automated masking after every environment refresh’ is one of the key benefits.
Yes — MaskIQ™ was specifically designed for UK public sector governance: GDPR and ICO ready, with audit trails and compliance reports for your DPO to review and sign off. eAppSys has direct experience delivering Oracle implementations for NHS, public sector, and regulated industries where these standards are mandatory.
