Galliford Try, a leading UK construction company, partnered with eAppSys to modernise its HR and payroll environment by moving from Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to Oracle Cloud HCM and Payroll.
The EBS to Oracle Cloud HCM Migration involved data from multiple sources, including Oracle EBS, Taleo Learn, Taleo Recruit and offline spreadsheets. eAppSys used its Oracle EBS and Cloud expertise to develop tailored and automated migration tools that supported accurate and efficient data transfer.
The project also addressed complex data quality and payroll requirements, helping Galliford Try establish a modern Oracle Cloud HCM environment while maintaining the critical HR and payroll information required by the business.
Galliford Try aimed to modernize their Oracle solution by shifting from EBS to Oracle Cloud for HCM and payroll, focusing on seamless integration.
The migration involved data from EBS, Taleo Learn & Recruit, and offline spreadsheets. eAppSys, chosen for their expertise in EBS and Cloud, provided tailored, automated tools that ensured high success rates in data transfer.
eAppSys has extensively utilized OCI and PaaS tools to build and deploy cloud applications, specifically for data migration and reporting, as part of this implementation. These tools have been integral in creating reusable and accelerated solutions.
Challenges like data quality issues and intricate payroll complexities were overcome, resulting in a successful migration. Galliford Try is now partnering with eAppSys for Phase 2: Learn Data Migration.
