Oracle Integration Cloud — Connect, Automate, and Enable AI Across Your Business

Your Oracle Fusion applications — ERP, HR, supply chain, CX — hold the data your business runs on. But most organisations still wrestle with systems that don’t talk to each other, manual processes that waste time, and AI tools that can’t access the right information. Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) solves all three — and eAppSys makes it simple to deploy.

What Is Oracle Integration Cloud?

Oracle’s integration platform — updated quarterly · Latest release: 26.04, April 2026

Think of Oracle Integration Cloud as the central nervous system of your Oracle Fusion estate. It connects all your applications — Oracle ERP, HR, supply chain, Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow and 200+ others — so data flows automatically, business processes run without manual hand-offs, and your AI tools have everything they need to take action. No coding required for most scenarios. No more re-keying data between systems. No more waiting on IT for every connection.

What’s New in Oracle Integration — 2026

How OIC Makes Your AI Agents Actually Work

Most AI tools can hold a conversation — but they can’t do anything useful unless they’re connected to your real business systems. OIC solves this. With one click, Oracle Integration turns each of your existing connections into a safe, controlled “action” that any AI agent can use. The agent decides what to do; OIC handles the actual work — checking an invoice in ERP, updating a record in Salesforce, sending a payment — with full security and an audit trail of every step.

“With a single click, enterprise-grade integrations become trusted tools for any AI agent — providing the predictability, explainability, and oversight CIOs need to realise business results fast.”— Charudatta Joshi, VP & Chief Unit Technology Officer, Oracle Practice, Infosys

Ready-Made Integrations — Get Running in Days, Not Months

Oracle has already built and tested integrations for the most common business scenarios. eAppSys configures them for your environment — typically up to 10X faster than building from scratch:

Systems We Connect — Out of the Box

OIC’s Oracle-built connectors are maintained and tested with every Oracle update. Third-party connectors cover the most popular business platforms:

Built-In Human Approval Steps

Keeping Humans in Control of AI Workflows

AI can handle routine tasks automatically — but for anything high-value or sensitive, you want a human to check before something happens. OIC lets you add approval steps anywhere in an automated or AI-driven workflow. An AI agent can process 100 low-value invoices automatically, then pause and wait for a manager to approve before paying anything over £10,000. It’s the same idea as an approval workflow you might already use — but now it works inside AI processes too, with a complete record of who approved what and when.

Common Questions

Questions We Get Asked Most Often

Straight answers to the questions customers ask us before starting an Oracle Integration project.
What is Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)?

Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is Oracle’s platform for connecting applications and automating business processes. Think of it as the glue between your Oracle ERP, HR, supply chain, and third-party systems like Salesforce and SAP. It includes 200+ ready-made connectors, visual workflow design, robotic process automation, a low-code app builder, and everything needed for B2B and healthcare data exchange. In 2026, it also became the platform that gives AI agents secure access to your business data and systems.

Oracle Integration Cloud (release 26.01, January 2026) introduced the ability to turn any existing integration into an action that an AI agent can call with a single click. Instead of giving an AI tool direct access to your ERP or CRM — which creates security and governance risks — the AI sends requests through OIC, which carries out the action safely using your existing connections. Every action is logged, every request is authenticated, and your IT team stays in control.

Yes — and it’s one of the features customers value most. Oracle Integration lets you add an approval step anywhere in an automated or AI-driven workflow. For example, an AI agent might process 200 invoices automatically, but pause and wait for a finance manager to approve any payment over £5,000. The approval request, the reviewer’s decision, and the timestamp are all logged automatically. You build the approval form inside OIC — no separate tool or coding required.

Two major updates in 2026: January’s release introduced AI agents inside OIC, the ability to turn any integration into an AI tool with one click, built-in approval steps for AI workflows, and new connectors for NetSuite and Google Sheets. April’s release added the ability to give AI agents access to a knowledge base of company documents, new connectors for Google BigQuery and Databricks, a new messaging connector (ActiveMQ), and an AI writing assistant that auto-saves your work as you build.

Much faster than most people expect. Oracle has pre-built and tested integrations for the most common business scenarios — connecting Oracle ERP to Salesforce, SAP to Oracle HR, Oracle to banking systems, and hundreds more. eAppSys configures these templates for your specific environment rather than building from scratch, which typically cuts delivery time by up to 10X. Simple integrations can go live in days; more complex multi-system projects typically take a few weeks.

Yes. Oracle Integration includes a dedicated connector for Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, Siebel, and Hyperion — so you can connect your existing Oracle on-premise systems to new cloud applications without rebuilding everything. This means you can start benefiting from cloud integrations and automation without having to migrate your core systems first. It’s one of the most practical ways to modernise gradually without disrupting your operations.
